Laurin’s – E-bike & mountain bike hotel in the Dolomites

Let’s get (a)round

Admittedly, the Dolomites are great for hiking – but we often prefer cycling. Which one exactly, we decide according to our mood: sometimes we hit the heights on a mountain bike, often we hop on a road bike and explore lower altitudes. And occasionally, we’re up for relaxed e-bike tours in Val Pusteria. All in all, a well-rounded experience.

Bike Parks
for your
bucket list
Cortina bike park Dolomiti

24 km of fun rides with a total of 3,000 m of elevation change and mountain bike, enduro, downhill, and freeride trails of all difficulty levels await you among forests, meadows, and the imposing Tofana massif. The chairlift or the “Freccia nel Cielo” cable car takes you from the town centre directly to the starting point, before heading back down to our bike hotel in South Tyrol.

Plan de Corones bike park

18 flowing trails over roots, stones, dirt, and gravel make your biking heart beat faster at Plan de Corones. They wind around the entire mountain and make the adrenaline levels of professionals and beginners alike soar during spectacular descents … before one of the five gondolas takes you back up to the summit. The next trail is already waiting.

MTB practice park Signaue

Full concentration is also required at the Signaue Bike Park in the Sesto Dolomites: easy to moderately difficult trails with natural obstacles and little difference in altitude are ideal for training the skills of young and old. The practice park is located directly at the valley station of the Tre Cime cable car and is particularly suitable for beginners and advanced biking holidaymakers in South Tyrol.

Easy going …

Despite all the adrenaline, there are also some easier (e-)bike tours around your bike hotel in South Tyrol, after all, pleasure cyclists should also get their money’s worth. For example, the 30 km long cycle path Dobbiaco–Cortina follows the old railway line past the picturesque Lake Dobbiaco, to Lake Landro and beyond the provincial border to Cortina.

Cyclists can also cross the South Tyrolean border to the east: along the Drava cycle path, you reach neighbouring Austria via the popular bike route Dobbiaco–Lienz, from where you can take the train back to Dobbiaco after about 45 km of biking. This tour is particularly suitable for families due to its flat runs.
